We invite you to submit innovative proposals for posters, symposia, and/or discussions for the 2014 APA convention in Washington DC August 7-10! We welcome any proposal that contributes to addressing and understanding any social, psychological, biological, and/or developmental factors related to men and masculinity. We are especially interested in research with diverse men and inquiry addressing the serious social and psychological issues impacting men and boys, including but not limited to the following:

• Violence (e.g., men as perpetrators and/or men as victims)
• Race and ethnicity (e.g., issues affecting ethnic and minority men)
• Help-seeking
• Health and health-related behavior (e.g., health-related disparities in men and boys)
• Mental health and psychopathology
• Men in education (e.g. issues impacting young boys)
• Men in the correctional systems
• Men in the military
• Gay men
• Counseling and psychotherapy with men
• Human trafficking
• Sexism
• Racism
• Women’s relationships with men

Special Note on Collaborative Programming: APA 2014 will also feature collaborative programming between two or more divisions. The goal of this programming is to reduce overlap in programming and to increase the quality and visibility of programs. If you are interested in doing a collaborative program involving D51, please contact me, Dr. Ryon McDermott (). Collaborative programming submissions have a different deadline (see below) and are independently reviewed by APA.

• Collaborative programming submission deadline: Friday, November 1, 2013
• Regular submission deadline: Monday, December 2, 2013
